Accessible Parking and Placard Abuse Survey – Respond by November 8

Information courtesy of the National Council on Independent Living

Have you faced challenges when it comes to finding available accessible parking? Have you been frustrated by parking spaces that are designated for people with disabilities but are used by those who don’t need them? Share your thoughts by completing a brief survey!

The survey is being conducted by the National Council on Independent Living, a part of the newly-formed Accessible Parking Council working to address these issues on a national scale. Your feedback will be reported at a Stakeholder’s Forum on Accessible Parking and Placard Abuse with the U.S. Access Board, the federal agency responsible for developing and updating the American Disabilities Act (ADA) Accessibility Guidelines.

The survey is here. Please respond by November 8.

Thanks for your help, advocates!
