Share your voting accessibility stories with the Election Assistance Commission

Information courtesy of United States Election Assistance Commission

In 2012, 38% of people with disabilities who voted reported physical barriers to voting in their polling place. You can help make the 2016 elections more accessible by sharing your experiences with the United States Election Assistance Commission (EAC).  EAC is asking voters with disabilities to share their experiences with accessible voting. These experiences will be used in a public hearing with election officials to help prepare for the 2016 elections.

If you would like to share your written testimony to be included as part of the hearing, send an email to with “testimony” in the subject line.

Thanks for your help, advocates!
