Scholarships For students with learning disabilities – Apply by November 6

The Anne Ford and Allegra Ford Thomas Scholarships are for graduating high school seniors with learning disabilities (LD) who are interested in post-secondary education. Applicants must provide three letters of recommendation, a high school transcript, a financial statement form, and current documentation of an identified learning disability. The applications for these scholarships are due by November 6.

Allegra Ford Thomas Scholarship

The Allegra Ford Thomas Scholarship is a $2,500 one-time scholarship for a student with LD who will be enrolled in a two-year community college, a vocational or technical training program, or a specialized program for students with LD in the fall.  For more information, complete rules, and to apply, click here.

Anne Ford Scholarship

The Anne Ford Scholarship is a $10,000 scholarship ($2,500/year over four years) granted to a student with LD who will be enrolled in a full-time bachelor’s degree program in the fall. Students must have an overall Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent).  For more information, complete rules, and to apply, click here.
