Health Reform Archives
From September of 2009 to March of 2010, Fifth Freedom posted a series of news updates about Congress’ work towards health care reform and the current state of the health care debate. These news updates and email alerts were a part of Fifth Freedom’s information services. Our goal then was the same as it is now: to help our members make informed decisions, not to tell them what those decisions should be.
Note that word: informed. We did not post these updates to encourage you to take one side or the other. Rather, the intent was simply to provide factual information so that the health care debate could be a little more logical and honest, and a little less emotional and partisan.
However, these updates contained links to outside sources, such as newspapers or blogs. A link to an outside source was not intended as an endorsement of their opinion. Rather, it means that we thought the source had some valuable factual information, and hoped that our members will ignore any bias.
Note: The outside links in these articles, especially the older articles from 2009, may likely no longer work. However, it is Fifth Freedom’s policy to always give credit to our sources, so they have been left in place as is. If you search the source Web site, you may be able to find the article in their archives.
