On May 9, VSA (Very Special Arts) will present an informative webinar on how technology can be used within classrooms and art rooms to help reach and engage all students, including students with disabilities. Learn how teachers use technology to promote critical thinking, problem solving skills, and create unique learning opportunities for all populations.
Technology can help students with disabilities access content that may be difficult for them to process. In the general education classroom, teachers can use programs such as Google Drive, word recognition software, and type to text to help students progress. In the art room, technology presents new opportunities for engagement, and new materials such as LED lights and conductive thread can help students of all abilities in a way that meet curricular and individual needs.
