December 5 and 6, join fellow advocates and professionals at the Indiana Governor’s Council for People with Disabilities annual conference. This year’s conference theme is “Creating a Culture of Change”. The disability rights movement continues to build momentum, and it’s creating a culture of change — change for the better.

Selected Conference Highlights:

  • Choose from 35 workshops including Supported Decision-Making, housing, transit, ADA, advocacy, public policy, and health and wellness.
  • Hear from Ruthie-Marie Beckwith, Ph.D., as she discusses the history of sub-minimum wage work by people with disabilities and the push for competitive, integrated employment.
  • Visit the assistive technology lab, sponsored by INDATA, to learn about the latest assistive technology and software.
  • Dance the night away during the evening reception dressed as your favorite comic book character or superhero!

Advanced registration is $75 for people with disabilities, students, and family members, and $175 for professionals.
