On December 4 and 5, join fellow advocates and professionals at the Indiana Governor’s Council for People with Disabilities annual conference. This year’s conference theme is “Independence: Achieving the Good Life with Choice and Support”.

Selected conference highlights:

  • LISTEN to Senator Tom Harkin (Retired), author of the American’s with Disabilities Act and lifetime champion of disability rights.
  • CHOOSE from 35 workshops including Supported Decision-Making, housing, employment, advocacy, public policy, and education
  • DEMO and EXPLORE assistive technology solutions at INDATA’s AT Lab
  • VISIT AbleGamer’s Accessibility Arcade and learn about different games and assistive technologies that help individuals with disabilities enjoy a variety of games.

Advanced registration is $75 for people with disabilities, students, and family members.  Register here by November 15.
