On September 27, tune in to an informative audio conference about The Air Carrier Access Act. The Air Carrier Access Act of 1986 (ACAA) prohibits discrimination on the basis of disability in air travel and requires air carriers to accommodate the needs of passengers with disabilities. Representatives from the U.S. Department of Transportation will discuss ACAA requirements for air carrier web sites and kiosks, service animals, animal relief areas, mobility device storage, and more. After the presentation, participants will have an opportunity to ask questions about the ACAA.
This audio conference will be offered at several locations: Bloomington, Indianapolis, Terre Haute, and Versailles. For location addresses, visit http://www.adaindiana.org/audio/. Can’t make it in person? Listen online.
