Event Navigation

Information courtesy of the ADA National Network, and the Great Lakes ADA Center

For pedestrians, accessibility is more than just sidewalks. On May 5, tune in to an informative webinar to learn about pedestrian signals that are accessible to everyone, including people with vision or hearing impairments. The webinar will also address basic intersection features such as curb ramps and accessible street crossings.

Presenters will also review requirements for accessible pedestrian signals in the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices and discuss other signal and beacon information useful for designing safe and accessible street crossings.
