The Division of Disability and Rehabilitative Services (DDRS) is sponsoring a series of town hall meetings across Indiana. These meetings are to give the public an opportunity to comment on changes to the Community Integration and Habilitation (CIH) home and community-based services (HCBS) waiver. The purpose is to gather input on what is working well and thoughts on what residential supports and services people would like to buy that would be helpful to them in achieving their desired outcomes and goals.
The changes to the CIH waiver are an important part of CIH Transform, a multi-year process underway to build a system of supports and services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.
The town hall meetings will be held in the following locations on the following dates:
There will be morning meetings for providers, and afternoon meetings for families and people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as advocates. Both meetings are open to anyone to attend and provide their input.
Additional details on times and locations will be posted on the CIH Transform website here. For questions, contact DDRS at 1-800-545-7763.
